Pending physical, Bouillon should be the #7 D-man putting Franson and Blum firmly in Milwaukee. Interesting pick up. Habs fans compare him to Tootoo on defense.
Do you think Alex Ovechkin pounds the headboard after sex like he pounds the glass after a goal?

Oh no, not HIM again.

Prediction: he'll be back in Montreal by the time the Olympics are over in Vancouver.

Franson made the team.

Let that sentence sink in for a second.

Do any of you have, or know, the formula Steve used to predict how many points a team will have based on the personnel? He posted it on the other board once. I thought I saved it somewhere but now I can't find it...

I saw that this afternoon. Trotz had me freaked out there for a few hours.

You know, this is the first time going into a season where I don't really have any major complaints about the roster makeup. It feels weird to not have that desire to complain anymore.

Glad I wrote a post that doesn't exist.
Trotz still sucks over here too.

Props to Buff for making this team look like a bunch of newbs that hasn't played the game before.... I'm trashed, over.

I read it. Honest!!!

The passing thing pisses me off too. I remember last season Crispy did a thing about why the Rude Wanks were good and he highlighted their short, sharp passes, and the fact that they get into a position to allow the puck handler to make a short pass. We have this long passing game which opens up the possibilities of inaccurate passing and interceptions.

Also, it amused me some, on the home opener, that they introduced all 6 of the coaching staff. We have a positional coach and a video coach but we STILL don't have a sodding powerplay coach!! HE-LLOOOOOO!!

HA ha, good catch Chas! I realize a PP coach may be a luxury this team can't afford but if any team needs one, it's the Predators.
I do agree with you on the long passes, it's great when they connect but....and saturday night was no time to be trying those. The Slugs were all over our guys and they just couldn't handle it.

And Colin Wilson gets the start tonight!!! Trying to keep my excitement level down, but I hope this is the first game of a long and productive career with the Preds!
I'l suddenly pumped up about tonights game...
