I highly doubt this story has a happy ending.
The NHL won't sustain the 40M in losses in PHX, anyone looking for 23M in concessions from the CoG has been turned away.
I'd say the countdown is on.

It's a matter of who moves the team. The NHL/Reinsdorf who will move it possibly to Vegas/KC, or Balls to Hamilton. If the team has to move I'd rather it be Winnipeg. Preferences in order:
1) Phoenix
2) Winnipeg
3) Hamilton
4) KC
5) Vegas.

I wonder if Vegas will be awarded an expansion team as opposed to a relocated team

I still don't think expansion is happening anytime in the next 5 years.
